Spyder

You do not need a colour profile with a professional laboratory as they should take care of the colour management in house, just a neutral monitor is all you need, we fully colour correct single image files.

Things to Remember

  • Multi image pages cannot be individually colour corrected.
  • Collate your orders as each order sent will attract postal charges, we cannot add orders together unless they have to be split due to upload restrictions.
  • Upload cap is currently 4 GB.
  • You can only use jpeg or tiff files.
  • sRGB or Adobe 1998 colorspace.
  • If images posterize or grey out check Mode is RGB not CMYK.
  • The software will resize your images when rendering but will take your full sized file for upload so you may wish to resize before ordering small image items such as proof books.
  • Files above 24x16" @ 300dpi can be saved at half dimension to avoid long upload times, there will be minimal loss in quality with this software.
  • Create your orders in size batches ie: do all 6x4" then move on to 7x5".

ROESpro: How to get started

  • First you will need a customer number, look on a previous invoice, or click here to get one or contact us if you are in any doubt.
  • You must have your details added in ‘My Information’ which you will find bottom centre of the main screen.
  • Preferences can be changed by clicking on the ‘Preferences’ button. If you require ROESpro to only search the current folder and not all sub folders uncheck the ‘search enclosed folders’ tick box, you can also remove the One Vision banner and prices by unchecking the relevant tick box.
  • TOP TIP read the Menus Screen Layout page first.
  • Start by selecting the ‘Sizes’ option and choose your template.
  • Select ‘Folder’ and navigate to where your files are stored, PC users click on an image to open all in the folder, MAC users highlight the folder and click OK to open (do not click on the files themselves or they may be greyed out).
  • Drag images into the template, either singly or in multiples.
Screengrab
  • Use the relevant buttons to rotate and crop.
  • Select ‘Options’ to change settings such as black & white, sepia, tone and adding borders and masks etc.
  • Select add to order and repeat for further sizes.
  • By clicking ‘Review Order’ at any time you can check your progress and view the thumbnails of prints ordered allowing you to delete or edit by clicking the link to the left of the thumbnail.
  • When the order is complete select ‘Review Order’.
  • Edit delivery and information options.
  • Complete order by internet, save to modify later or save to cd for sending in the post.

  • For individual tips on screen layouts, advanced editing, how to design albums and proof books please view the other help pages by clicking on the buttons.

If you do not get a reply email after you send an order:

  • We do not have the order.
  • There was an interuption of the upload process.
  • Some users may have to discuss with their service provider why they are not getting the automated emails, we send out an email to the address you provide after the order has been rendered on our server. This may be many hours after you send the order.
  • Your spam filters may have to be modified to allow automatically generated emails through. Please add orders@onevisionimaging.com to your safe senders list or address book.
