Giclée printing is used by many museums and art galleries throughout the world for its unique, painterly qualities. Images take on a watercolour-like look, with the texture of the paper helping to add to the overall pleasure of the photo or artwork. Image take on a more matt appearance, with deep blacks, bright whites and more bright pastel-like tones to images.
Due to the way the ink sits on the paper, they appear to have slightly less ‘sharpness’ than a silver halide photo print has, but that is the fine art print’s charm.
This high quality photo printing technique is achieved with a combination of state-of-the-art inkjet heads, placing the finest micro piezo droplets of ink onto a variety of textured fine art, archival grade papers, for colour or black & white images or artwork.
We use Epson large format printers (LFPs) combined with Fuji, Hahnemühle and Permajet papers for all of our fine art photo printing.

This heavyweight etching board is velvety smooth with a fine surface texture. German Etching is one of the most popular media worldwide for artwork and photography alike.
A luxurious, smooth silk finish inkjet paper which defines the high quality of the PermaJet fine art range. With a hefty base weight of 290gsm, this acid-free media only reveals its magical and undetectable silk coating once the image is printed. Every image bursts forth with a subtle, and yet, vibrant silk sheen in the printed areas. A perfect media for colour work with subject matter containing reflective or mirrored surfaces such as water or glass where a shimmering effect is required.
A mid-white, 310gsm alpha/cotton mix base paper, resulting in highlight and shadow detail never seen before for such a media. It is totally acid-free, water resistant and with an impressive scuff-resistant coating avoiding 'flaking' seen on similar papers.
With a 250gsm heavyweight base, this matt coated media brings out all the original subtle and gritty detail and creativity of your work whether you use pigment or dye inks. Its natural white, OBA free base has a wide colour gamut and super sharpness and definition.
Photo Smooth Pearl 290 has a natural white base and an instant dry, micro-porous coating. The paper’s wide colour gamut and high D-MAX delivers beautiful images, both in colour and B&W.
